What is a good hair salon to go to in Staten Island, NY?

I need a hair cut and highlights i dont want to go somewhere with bad service and bad additudes.What is a good hair salon to go to in Staten Island, NY?
What I tell my clients who are leaving the state is either look in the phone book or on line for a salon that carries top of the line products. Matrix, Paul Mitchell,Bed head, Joico, etc,etc, I think you probably know some other top names. Then make an appointment for a consultation, nothing else. Scope the place out....check to see if they keep their products clean, floors swept,etc etc. Then most important see if you like the stylists there. Do they get along with each other or can you feel tension. See if the stylist you get is on the same page as you. Does she make eye contact with you, is she giving you the time of day,etc. That is the only way you are going to find someone. BTW, do this before you are in need of services and you sound like you are in need. Just follow what I said and wait until you find someone you like.
